We can help you with a totally new custom piece of jewelry too! If you’ve been nurturing a vision of a new ring, pendant, or other piece, we’ll help you bring it to reality!
First we’ll chat about the vision you’ve been nurturing. We’ll get a good idea of the occasion the piece is meant for, design elements, metal choices, stones, size, and so forth.
Next, we’ll look through our collection of trade magazines, catalogs, and design notebooks to help spark your imagination, just in case your mind’s eye can’t quite focus. We’ll scribble and sketch until we have a good idea of how your piece should look.
Our next step is to take those sketches and generate a computer-aided-design. With this process we can generate a near-photographic quality rendering that we can e-mail to you for approval. We keep repeating the design process until it's perfect in your eyes.
Next, we hand it off to one of our goldsmiths who will make a model of your piece out of special casting wax that will be used in the casting process. You’ll also choose your stones at this point.
Don't worry. You’ll approve the design, wax, stones and all, before anything gets made.
Once you approve the wax and stones, our goldsmith will cast and finish the piece and set the stones.
This entire process takes two to perhaps several weeks, depending on the intricacy of the design and ease of stone procurement.
Finally, when your new piece is ready, we’ll present it to you in a beautiful package, fulfilling the vision that you’ve nurtured for so long!
